About amandalignment

My Goal

My mission as a professional within the mind and body space is to cultivate a safe, non-intimidating environment for

students to confidently show up as they are, while also encouraging their growth. With this, I design and implement

challenging practices for not only physical advancement, but also mental resilience. While I'm a certified teacher with 9

years of personal practice, I view myself as a forever a student of this craft within both physical and mental realms. It's my

intention to continue to improve and apply new techniques and styles within my approach, to not only cultivate variety, but

to ensure that I'm using the appropriate style for all ability levels and environments that I encounter. My life philosophy

has matured and materialized over the years through this practice, and has extended beyond the mat: push boundaries

when possible and embrace self-compassion when necessary. Being born and raised in St. Petersburg, I'm extremely

excited to serve my hometown community and offer others the chance to embark on their transformative yoga life

journeys!

YOGA TYPES/SPECIALTIES

Build some heat & work up a sweat with this fast-paced, challenging style of yoga. In my power flow, we start off by warming up your body with sun salutations. This is followed by flowing from one posture to the next with your breath, and building the strength of your mind and body between each posture transition. 

Vinyasa

In my vinyasa flows, I form a harmonious flow between movement and meditation. These flows will gracefully glide you from one posture to the next, creating a strengthening, rhythmic movement with your body. These classes will give you a work out, while still maintaining a relaxing tone.

The meditative flows, (yin & restorative), are made to be grounding and relaxing. Both yin & restorative classes bring peaceful stillness and provide a chance to connect deeper to your body & mind.  These classes provide a deep stretch, and will work into those hard to reach areas.

I'm highly dedicated to helping guide yogis of all levels, from experts, to novice and everything in between. It's a passion of mine to introduce this practice to all, as it's been so impactful to me in a variety of ways.
